    Description

    Client is seeking a Wire Paralleling Technician to prepare wire reels for jobsite installation. This position requires strong knowledge of electrical wire types and sizes, attention to detail, and the ability to operate large wire-handling equipment safely.

    Responsibilities
    • Identify and distinguish electrical wire types, sizes, colors, and voltage ratings, including line-voltage and high-voltage wire.
    • Operate wire-paralleling equipment to spool multiple colors of wire onto a single reel according to jobsite requirements.
    • Securely fasten wire to the reel for transportation and jobsite pulling.
    • Install pulling heads to prepare wire for jobsite installation.
    • Label each reel accurately with the designation provided by the jobsite.
    • Inspect completed reels to verify wire selection, securement, pulling heads, and labeling.
    • Follow equipment safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
    Qualifications and Requirements
    • Working knowledge of electrical wire types, sizes, insulation markings, and voltage ratings.
    • Ability to follow written instructions and accurately prepare reels to jobsite specifications.
    • Ability to work safely around large machinery and rotating equipment.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
    • Jobsite electrical experience preferred.
