WHAT YOU'LL DO

As a Wire Harness Technician, you'll be an important member of our Assembly Team, fabricating, installing, and troubleshooting electrical and wire harness assemblies used in our aircraft. You'll work from engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions to produce high-quality assemblies while using a variety of electrical hand tools and equipment. This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. Basic electrical experience is helpful but not required, making this a great opportunity to build your technical skills and start or grow your career at Epic.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate, assemble, modify, and route wire harnesses in accordance with engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions
  • Perform electrical and avionics installations and assist with system setup
  • Strip, crimp, terminate, splice, and assemble wires and electrical components
  • Properly use electrical hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and other assembly tools
  • Inspect completed work to ensure assemblies meet quality and engineering requirements
  • Troubleshoot basic electrical and assembly issues and identify potential problems
  • Accurately document completed work using PC-based applications and company systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and other members of the Assembly Team
  • Learn and apply new processes, tools, and techniques as required
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to learn PC-based applications
  • Comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
  • Reliable and dependable, with a strong record of attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic problems and ask questions when needed
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Training is provided, so we're especially interested in candidates who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, dependable, and excited to develop their technical skills
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without current or future sponsorship

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for the majority of the workday
  • Ability to frequently bend, stoop, reach, and work with hands for extended periods
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to use hand tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Ability to lift, carry, and position materials and equipment as required

COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE

Monday Friday
6:30 a.m. 3:00 p.m.

Starting Pay: $22.00/hour
