Description
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing aircraft wire harnesses and a strong understanding of EWIS (Electrical Wiring Interconnection System) requirements and standards. Responsibilities
Design and develop electrical wire harnesses and related aircraft wiring installations.
Create and modify wire harness designs, routing, drawings, and associated engineering documentation.
Ensure designs comply with applicable EWIS requirements, aerospace standards, and aircraft design practices.
Work with engineering, manufacturing, and other technical teams to resolve wiring and installation issues.
Support design changes, engineering updates, and configuration requirements throughout the aircraft development and modification process.
Review designs for manufacturability, installation, and compliance with engineering requirements.
Qualifications
Previous aircraft or aerospace wire harness design experience.
Strong working knowledge of EWIS rules, requirements, and design practices.
Experience with CATIA for electrical or wire harness design.
3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) experience is preferred, but candidates with strong CATIA experience will also be considered.
Ability to interpret aircraft engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical requirements.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively within a cross-functional engineering environment.
