Hire Up Staffing is seeking an experienced Wire Cutter in Austin, Texas to join a fast-paced distribution team. 
 

Pay & Schedule:

• Pay Rate: $22 + DOE
• Schedule: Monday – Friday
• Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

 
Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders to determine materials needed
• Cut and spool various wire sizes using wire cutting machinery
• Accurately track wire footage on reels and update wire tag markers
• Monitor and communicate low inventory levels
• Move materials from receiving to storage or designated areas
• Scan, sort, and organize materials on racks, shelves, and bins
• Pick and assemble customer orders for shipment
• Prepare packages for shipping and distribution
• Perform cycle counts and verify inventory accuracy

 
Qualifications:

• Experience with wire cutting, specifically VNTC, THHN, XHHW, SER, URD, and Medium Voltage Cable preferred
• Previous warehouse, utility, or electrical distribution experience a plus
• Minimum of 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of education and training
• Forklift certification required
