Join a fast-paced warehouse team as a Wire Cutter and play an important role in preparing customer orders accurately and on time. This temp-to-hire opportunity is ideal for dependable candidates who enjoy hands-on work and take pride in accuracy, safety, and quality.
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-10:30 PM (or until the work is done for the day)
What You'll Do:
- Read customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders to identify materials and quantities needed.
- Measure, cut, and spool various sizes of wire using wire-cutting equipment.
- Track wire footage, update wire tags, and communicate low inventory levels.
- Move and organize materials using warehouse equipment and place products in designated racks, shelves, or bins.
- Prepare customer orders for shipping, including staging, palletizing, and packaging.
- Complete cycle counts and verify inventory quantities as needed.
Employment Terms: This position is a temporary/contract engagement through RightStone. Standard corporate health benefits, retirement plans, and paid time off are not provided during the contract duration.
What We're Looking For:
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Previous warehouse, utility, electrical, distribution, or material-handling experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to accurately read orders, labels, and product information.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to order accuracy.
- Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse.
- Forklift certification/experience is preferred.
- Ability to occasionally lift and pull materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work the full 2nd-shift schedule.
- Must wear required steel-toe footwear.
