Is This You?
- Available when winter weather happens — nights, overnights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
- Reachable and responsive the moment dispatch calls or texts.
- Capable of running a route from first flake to final pass with minimal supervision.
What You’ll Handle
- Lead a defined commercial route, ensuring safe, accurate, on‑time service for every property.
- Coordinate operators, drivers, and laborers throughout each event.
- Operate plow trucks, skid steers, loaders, snow blowers, and salt spreaders.
- Clear lots and designated areas; de‑ice and apply salt/ice melt; handle sidewalks and walkways as needed.
- Stay in constant communication with dispatch and management; follow and adjust plans as conditions change.
- Verify completion of assigned properties; complete route and service documentation.
- Immediately report delays, equipment issues, damage, or safety concerns.
- Hold your crew to company safety and service standards.
What It Takes to Succeed
- 2+ years of snow plowing or snow/ice management experience.
- Background as a crew lead, route lead, or supervisor.
- Comfort operating plow trucks and a range of snow equipment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
- Ability to drive medium‑duty non‑CDL trucks.
- Non‑CDL Class C required (or willingness to obtain right away).
- Clear communicator, steady leader, independent problem‑solver.
- Safety‑first mindset; dependable and easy to reach when weather moves in.
- Flexible schedule aligned to unpredictable snow events.
Physical Realities
- Lift/carry 50–70 lbs.
- Sit and focus for long periods while operating a plow truck.
- Work outdoors in harsh winter conditions.
- Shovel, walk, bend, and perform physical work for extended durations.
- Work extended shifts during significant storms.
