Our kitchen is the heartbeat of the restaurant. During the holidays, our daytime hours are incredibly busy with catering orders, holiday shoppers, and regular lunch rushes. We are looking for reliable individuals who enjoy hands-on work, thrive in a structured environment, and want a positive team culture to carry them through the holiday season.
Shift Details & Timeline
- Commitment Period: Early November through the end of December (flexible around your exact holiday travel or finals schedule).
- Daytime Hours: Shifts generally fall between 6:00 AM and 4:00 PM (perfect for keeping your evenings completely free).
- Location: Chick-fil-A Oshkosh.
What You Will Do in the Kitchen
Our kitchen relies on teamwork and clear systems. No prior commercial kitchen experience is required—we will train you thoroughly on day one. Your daily tasks will include:
- Food Assembly & Prep: Preparing our signature menu items, boxing nuggets, and assembling sandwiches exactly to standard under tight time constraints.
- Batch Cooking: Operating commercial fryers and pressure cookers to keep up with high-volume daytime rushes.
- Catering Coordination: Helping package large holiday catering orders accurately and on schedule.
- Kitchen Upkeep: Maintaining strict food safety standards, washing dishes, and keeping prep stations clean and stocked.
