vin tage is a boutique wine bar and shoppable vintage home concept located in a charming historic house in the heart of East Dallas. Every corner feels like the living room of your most stylish friend layered, warm, and entirely available for purchase.
Our wine program curates intentional flights, glass pours, and bottles celebrating women winemakers, women-owned wineries, and small-batch producers. Paired with artisan charcuterie, wine-based cocktails, and craft espresso in a dynamic living showroom, vin tage serves as a welcoming third place for our Lakewood neighborhood.
We are seeking an energetic, hospitality-first Wine Server who brings real passion for wine culture and thrives in high-volume, high-touch service.
In this role, you will do much more than drop glasses at tables. You will guide guests through intentional flavor profiles, share the stories behind our women-led and small-batch producers, recommend cheese and charcuterie pairings, and execute elevated table-side wine service while managing busy room flows with poise and warmth.
Wine Storytelling & Sales: Confidently present our rotating glass, flight, and bottle lists; share the provenance and craft of our featured producers with enthusiasm and zero pretension.
Elevated Wine Service: Execute standard table-side wine service (proper glassware, temperature awareness, bottle presentation, cork service, and measured carafes) while respecting the unique living showroom environment.
High-Volume Floor Presence: Manage sections and multi-table pacing during peak evening rushes, patio seatings, and private gatherings without sacrificing hospitality or detail.
Food & Pairing Knowledge: Speak fluently to our cheese boards, cured meats, and small bites, guiding guests toward thoughtful pairings.
Collaborative Floor Support: Work seamlessly with the bar, server assistants, and support team; maintain pristine glassware, restock stations, and keep the showroom floor immaculate.
POS & Payments: Accurately ring orders, manage tabs, and handle transactions smoothly via POS.
Prior experience in a wine-focused dining room, wine bar, or fine dining setting.
Working knowledge of major wine regions, varietals, and service standards.
Wine credentials (WSET, CMS, or CSW) are a huge plus, though an eagerness to learn, taste, and guide guests is equally valued.
TABC and Texas Food Handler certifications (required prior to start).
