Introduction
This role will be reporting to the IT Service Delivery West Coast End-User Support team. The position may require up to 10% travel. You will be the primary point of contact for Tier 1 support, working in a mixed network environment to meet the needs of business users, software, and peripheral equipment. You will also be responsible for documenting practices related to these technologies and updating knowledge base articles as applicable.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or 4 years of experience
- A+ Certification and knowledge of PC Architecture
- 2 years of network technical troubleshooting in a corporate wide area network (WAN) environment
- 4 years deploying end-user hardware (laptops, desktops) via automated provisioning solutions
- Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry
- Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Advanced knowledge supporting MS Teams, ZOOM Meetings, ZOOM Administration
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
- Analytical skills: ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Legacy AD support, active Directory management
- Hardware installations, equipment moves, and troubleshooting
- Network monitoring and troubleshooting connectivity issues
- ZOOM VOIP phone system administration
- Software installation and deployment
- Provisioning user workstations and deploying system imaging tools
- Security patching and virus/spam protection
- Printer maintenance and vendor coordination
- Corporate mobile device management
- Participation in daily huddles to review tickets and improve user response time
- Ensure compliance with IT Asset Management processes
- Engage in Lean/Six Sigma activities to enhance cross-functional problem solving
