Description
Our client, a rapidly growing financial firm in Midtown is looking for a Windows System Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Exchange and enterprise messaging. This role is responsible for the design, administration, maintenance, and support of the organization's messaging infrastructure, including Exchange Online, hybrid Exchange environments, Microsoft 365, and related systems.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex email environments, troubleshooting mail flow issues, supporting migrations, and ensuring high availability, security, and compliance across enterprise communication platforms.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex email environments, troubleshooting mail flow issues, supporting migrations, and ensuring high availability, security, and compliance across enterprise communication platforms.
Skills
- 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience with strong Microsoft Exchange expertise
- Extensive experience with:
- Exchange Online
- Hybrid Exchange environments
- Microsoft 365 administration
- Active Directory
- Azure AD / Entra ID
- PowerShell scripting
- Strong understanding of mail routing, SMTP, DNS, SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
Certifications In the Following Are a Plus:
- Microsoft Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
- Azure Administrator Associate
- MCSE (legacy certifications acceptable)
