Job Description:
Employees that work in the field at Blind Installation & Repair, Inc. are the face of our company, as they are the employees that interact with our customers the most frequently. Window Treatment Technicians perform repairs, installations and most importantly uphold our high standard of customer service. This is a physical, fast-paced position that requires clear communication with customers and teammates.
Duties:
- Provide prompt and professional customer service
- Complete services efficiently within the designated time frame
- Effectively communicate with others
- Complete paperwork thoroughly
- Provide customers with accurate and helpful information specific to their product
- Collect customer payment
- Attend meetings and trainings as required
- Meet company standards for attendance and punctuality
- Operate a company vehicle safely
- Will follow instructions given by the assigned supervisor
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or 2 years of equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Demonstrate an understanding of basic mathematic skills
- Must have legible penmanship
- Demonstrate professionalism
- Demonstrate ability to learn on the job
- Able to lift equipment up to 75 pounds
- Able to climb ladders in excess of 10 feet
- Able to carry equipment up multiple flights of stairs
- Flexible availability (Monday-Saturday)
- Appearance must be clean shaven and presentable
- Attire must be without holes, rips, stains or tears
- Company shirts must be worn at all times
