Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Windchill Technical Manager for a Contract with a client in Houston, TX (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for leading enterprise PLM implementation, upgrade, migration, and integration initiatives while ensuring successful delivery of business and technical objectives.

Rate Range: $47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Windchill Technical Manager Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks for UI, API, and performance testing across enterprise applications.

  • Create, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Rest Assured, and Postman.

  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI to support continuous testing and delivery.

  • Lead test planning, test strategy development, defect management, and quality assurance activities for complex application features and releases.

  • Perform performance and load testing using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or k6, ensuring application scalability and reliability.

  • Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to drive shift-left testing practices, improve quality metrics, and mentor junior QA engineers.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8-10 years of experience in Quality Assurance, Test Automation, and Software Testing.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, API testing (Rest Assured, Postman, Karate), and automation framework development.

  • Proven expertise in CI/CD integration, performance testing, QA strategy, test planning, defect management, and leading automation initiatives in Agile environments.

Pay Details: $47.00 to $49.00 per hour
