Job Summary:
The purpose of this position is to drive and operate a winch truck safely under specified height, weight, width and load guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drives truck with a total capacity in excess of 3 tons.
Has knowledge of load securing devices (straps, ratchet boomers, chains, and binders).
Inspects daily winch cable for burrs, flat spots, broken threads, and tail chain rope socket.
Inspects daily winch frame, welds, loose bolts on frame.
Applies knowledge of moving equipment such as tanks, pits, etc.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Wears proper safety equipment on job (when applicable)
Goggles, face shields or safety glasses

Anti-fall devices
SCBA (Self-contained Breathing Apparatus)
H2S/multi-gas detectors

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to effectively communicate, both verbally and written.
Valid CDL A or B drivers license depending on vehicle required to drive with required endorsements and acceptable driving record within past 3 yrs.
Understands placement of load securing devices (follow DOT requirements).
Basic problem solving, organizational skills
Has good understanding of location restrictions such as power lines, guy lines on units, and other equipment on location.
Has knowledge of loading and unloading frac. tanks, checking to make sure empty, hoses are secure, valves closed before moving.
Must pass company drug/alcohol urinalysis.
Must pass post-offer "Essential Job Functions Test."
Must pass DOT-drug & physical as required by state and federal government.
Education Requirements:
High School Diploma, GED, or the equivalent is preferred.
