    Description

Celona has led the evolution of private 5G from an emerging technology to critical infrastructure across some of the world's most demanding industries and environments. Celona is now defining a new category of enterprise wireless purpose-built for physical and agentic AI - converging private 5G, Wi-Fi, public cellular, and satellite into a unified wireless fabric with agentic intelligence built in.

The result is a deterministic wireless foundation purpose-built for the AI-native enterprise, connecting AI agents, autonomous machines, and the people who work alongside them.

Celona is seeking a WiFi Test Engineer reporting to Celona's Director of QA Engineering.

    Requirements

    • Design and execute test plans for Wi-Fi/private-cellular coexistence, interoperability, and handoff scenarios
    • Build comparative benchmarks (throughput, latency, jitter, roaming behavior, client density) between Wi-Fi and Celona deployments
    • Set up and maintain lab environments: APs, controllers, spectrum analyzers, traffic generators, RF chambers, attenuator matrices
    • Automate regression and performance suites in Python; integrate with CI
    • Triage failures across the stack - RF, 802.11 MAC, IP, application - and file actionable defects with captures and logs
    • Validate client behavior across Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and industrial IoT endpoints
    • Support field trials and customer escalations with reproducible lab repros
    • Partner with product and systems engineering on requirements and release readiness

    What you'll bring

    • 4+ years in wireless test, QA, or network engineering
    • Deep 802.11 knowledge: a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6/6E), and ideally 7; roaming (802.11r/k/v), WPA2/WPA3, DFS, channel planning
    • Hands-on with Wireshark, iPerf, Ixia/Spirent or similar, spectrum analysis tools
    • Python scripting and test automation experience
    • Solid networking fundamentals: VLANs, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS/802.1X, routing, QoS
    • Comfortable reading specs and turning them into test cases

    Nice to have

    • Exposure to LTE/5G, CBRS, or spectrum-sharing (SAS) concepts
    • Experience with enterprise Wi-Fi platforms (Cisco, Aruba, Mist, Ruckus)
    • CWNA/CWAP or equivalent
    • Prior work in manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, or education networks
