Job Description:
1. 8+ years of Programming experience for both user and kernel space in C / C++
2. 8+ years of working experience in WiFi – Wireless networking (AP, Hotspot, Single SSID, Band / Channel…)
3. 8+ years of Linux kernel development experience
4. Strong knowledge & working experience in networking – Multicast, DHCP, MAP-T, IPv4, IPv6
5. Strong initiative to find ways to improve solutions, systems, and processes
6. Experience with source control management systems and continuous integration/deployment environments
7. Practical experience with developing features for OpenWRT/PRPL
8. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance-tuning skills
9. Experience with the creation of packages - ideally Opkg or RPM
10. Experience standing up cross-compilers and build environments for bootstrapping development
11. Strong scripting skills python, groovy, busyBox(ash and tools), etc.
12. Ability to identify measures or indicators of system performance and the actions needed to improve or correct performance, relative to the goals of the system
13. Ability to deal with ambiguity, uncertainty, and incomplete information when evaluating alternatives and making recommendations
14. Ability to work seamlessly within a team as well as manage individual tasks
15. Creative and abstract thinking skills to envision and design innovative solutions to business opportunities and challenges
16. Proven ability to work independently; designing, developing and deploying solutions, and to deliver projects on time with minimal direction
