Title - Wide Format Production Manager
Duration – Fulltime
Location - Harrisburg, PA (17110)

Job Description:
  • Lead the team. Drive the process. Deliver exceptional work.
  • At this, wide format printing is more than production — it’s execution at the highest level. From retail environments and branded interiors to signage, displays, and large-scale graphics, quality and precision matter in everything we produce.
  • We’re looking for an experienced Wide Format Production Manager to lead our production department, oversee day-to-day operations, and help scale a fast-growing wide format division built around quality, efficiency, accountability, and craftsmanship.
  • This role is ideal for someone with deep industry experience who understands both the technical and operational side of wide format production — someone who can lead a team, solve problems quickly, maintain high production standards, and create a culture focused on execution and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Leadership, execution, and operational excellence.
  • Production Leadership & Operations
  • Manage all day-to-day wide format production operations
  • Oversee printing, finishing, laminating, mounting, routing, packaging, and production workflow
  • Lead and support production staff, installers, and apprentices
  • Establish and maintain production schedules to ensure deadlines are met
  • Prioritize jobs and allocate resources efficiently across equipment and personnel
  • Monitor throughput, productivity, utilization, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure production standards, consistency, and quality expectations are maintained across all projects
Equipment & Technical Oversight:
  • Oversee operation and maintenance of wide format production equipment
  • Troubleshoot production issues, color challenges, material problems, and workflow bottlenecks
  • Ensure proper machine maintenance schedules and preventative care procedures are followed
  • Maintain knowledge of substrates, vinyls, laminates, inks, finishing techniques, and production best practices
  • Work closely with vendors and service providers when technical issues arise
Quality Control & Process Management:
  • Own quality control throughout the production process
  • Develop and enforce production workflows, SOPs, and operational standards
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and streamline processes
  • Ensure projects are completed accurately, consistently, and on time
  • Review files, proofs, color expectations, and production specifications before release
Team Leadership & Development:
  • Train, mentor, and develop production staff
  • Build a culture focused on accountability, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement
  • Help recruit, onboard, and develop future production talent
  • Foster a positive, solution-oriented production environment
  • Lead by example through professionalism, urgency, organization, and execution
Cross-Department Collaboration:
  • Work closely with account management, creative, estimating, purchasing, and installation teams
  • Help identify production solutions during project planning and quoting
  • Communicate timelines, challenges, and production updates proactively
  • Support client-facing conversations when technical expertise is required
WHAT YOU BRING:
  • 10+ years of experience in wide format printing, signage, graphics, or print production
  • Proven leadership experience managing production teams and workflows
  • Deep understanding of wide format printing equipment, materials, and finishing processes
  • Strong knowledge of color management, print quality, and production standards
  • Experience with vinyl applications, rigid substrates, retail graphics, displays, and signage production
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Hands-on leadership style with a willingness to jump in when needed
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and production quality
  • Experience building operational efficiencies and improving workflows
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with Client Latex, EFI, Canon, or similar wide format production equipment
  • Knowledge of RIP software, file preparation, and production workflows
  • Experience with CNC routing, cutting systems, laminators, and finishing equipment
  • Familiarity with retail graphics, environmental branding, POP/POS displays, and installation preparation
  • Understanding of inventory management, material purchasing, and production planning
  • OSHA/safety awareness and shop management experience
You’ll succeed in this role if you:
  • Lead with accountability and professionalism
  • Stay calm under pressure and solve problems quickly
  • Hold high standards for quality and execution
  • Understand both the technical and operational sides of production
  • Communicate clearly and proactively
  • Take ownership of outcomes — not just tasks
  • Build trust and respect with your team
  • Continuously look for ways to improve workflow, efficiency, and production quality
  • Balance speed with precision
WHY this?
  • We’re building something different — a modern marketing execution company focused on quality, creativity, operational excellence, and execution that clients can trust.
  • you’ll have the opportunity to help shape and grow a production department that supports exciting retail, signage, branding, and display projects across multiple industries.
  • We value people who care about doing things the right way, solving problems, supporting their team, and continuously improving.
  • This is an opportunity to lead, build, mentor, and make a real impact.
