Summary Objective

Person County Government is seeking a dedicated WIC Supervisor (Nutritionist III) to join the Person County Health Department. This leadership-driven role plays a pivotal part in advancing community health through the effective administration and oversight of the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).

The starting salary will be determined with consideration given to both the candidates educational background and relevant work experience.

This is an exempt position working 37.5 hours weekly/1950 hours annually.

Essential Functions

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education with a Master's degree in Dietetics, Public Health Nutrition or Nutrition from an accredited college or university and one year of experience;
• or Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education and two years nutrition experience.

Special Certifications and Licenses

• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving history.

TUITION REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAM

Employees may be reimbursed for eligible expenses up to a total of eight hundred dollars ($2,500) per fiscal year

1.5% salary increase per advanced certification pertaining to the job
