POSITION DESCRIPTION

Huron Valley Schools is seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, and innovative Language Arts Middle School Teacher to fill a vacancy in the district. The program is supported by a teaching team that works collaboratively to develop and implement curriculum.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a certified to teach Middle School Language Arts
• Middle School experience preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• To effectively provide materials and instruction to eligible students
• To effectively communicate with students, staff and families

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred

LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL AND REASONING SKILLS: Ability to speak and write effectively. Ability to apply ELA concepts to practical situations. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral format and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
