Applicants must be a current employee of the White County Sheriff's Office.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Supervision and Leadership:Directly supervise and manage correctional deputies within the facility.Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the smooth operation of the correctional facility.Security and Safety:Maintain a secure and safe environment for both staff and inmates.Conduct regular security checks and inspections to identify and address potential safety concerns.Inmate Management:Oversee inmate activities and ensure compliance with facility rules and regulations.Respond to incidents and emergencies within the correctional facility.Training and Development:Provide training to correctional deputies on policies, procedures, and best practices.Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the correctional division.Policy Adherence:Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations governing corrections facilities.Enforce policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
