Penmac Education Staffing is hiring Substitute Teachers and Substitute Paraprofessionals for the West Plains R-VII School District for the 2026–2027 school year.

? Pay
• $120 per full day
• $125 per full day for retired West Plains R-VII teachers
• Weekly pay, not monthly
? What You’ll Do
• Step into classrooms and follow lesson plans provided by the regular teacher
• Create a positive, productive learning environment
• Support students with different learning needs
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, playgrounds, and cafeterias
• Assign classwork and homework as needed
• In long-term assignments, develop lesson plans aligned with the curriculum
? What You’ll Need
• 36 college credit hours in any subject OR completion of a DESE-approved online training program
• A valid Missouri Teaching License or Substitute Certificate
• Fingerprint background check (contact Penmac before completing)
• Pre-employment drug screening (THC is not permitted)
• Completion of Penmac-provided training
