Schedule: 5 Days On/2 Days Off (8Hr Days)

Position Summary

Seeking an experienced Wellsite Drilling Supervisor to provide onsite oversight of exploratory and development drilling operations. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective drilling performance while maintaining compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements.

The successful candidate will serve as the primary field representative, coordinating drilling contractors, service companies, and operational personnel while supporting the execution and optimization of drilling programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite oversight of exploratory and development wells.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Execute drilling programs safely and efficiently.
  • Monitor rig operations and respond to operational challenges.
  • Track and control drilling costs.
  • Coordinate drilling contractors and service company activities.
  • Maintain daily operational reports and records.
  • Facilitate communication between rig personnel and office-based teams.
  • Review and optimize drilling programs and procedures.
  • Assist with drilling documentation, manuals, and operational reporting.
  • Participate in emergency preparedness and permitting activities.
  • Support strategic operational objectives and business goals.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of drilling operations experience.
  • Previous experience as a Company Man, Wellsite Supervisor, Drill Site Supervisor, Drilling Supervisor, or Drilling Superintendent.
  • Experience overseeing exploratory and development wells.
  • Strong knowledge of drilling operations, well control, safety, and environmental compliance.
  • Experience managing contractors and service companies.
  • Proven ability to manage costs and optimize drilling performance.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Horizontal and directional drilling experience.
  • HPHT drilling experience.
  • IADC WellSharp Drilling Supervisor certification.
  • Experience with land-based drilling operations.
