Wellness Specialist Role Information
Location: Twin Lakes | 9840 Montgomery Road, Montgomery, OH 45242
Schedule: - Part-Time, Days, 24hours per week, flexed schedule

Responsibilities - Designs and implements wellness programming
- Creates individual exercise prescriptions
- Lead group exercise classes (land and/or water)
Requirements - Associate's degree in a health related or gerontology field, with course work that minimally includes: Exercise Prescription, Exercise Physiology, Gerontology, Health Promotion/Education, and Wellness, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Prior experience in exercise programming and working with the older adult population as it relates to exercise and wellness.
- Possess or can obtain, within the first 6 months of employment, the following certifications:
- CPR
- Basic Water Safety
- Group Fitness or Personal Training
- Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
- Ability to produce basic reports, using Microsoft Office
- Personally reflect an image of wellness and live out the six dimensions of wellness.
- Demonstrate a familiarity with the relationship between exercise and other wellness programming and the older adult.
