    Responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive patient assessments, vital signs monitoring, and physical examinations to inform clinical decisions.
    • Administer medications and adherence to safety protocols.
    • Document all patient interactions accurately utilizing EMR/EHR systems like PCC while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
    • Lead and supervise nursing staff during shifts, delegating tasks effectively to ensure high-quality care delivery.
    • Conduct diagnostic evaluations such as laboratory specimen collection/processing and medical imaging procedures when necessary.
    • Ensure infection control practices are strictly followed to maintain a sterile environment.
    • Educate patients and families on health coaching, medication management, nutrition, and disease processes such as dementia or chronic pain management.
    • While advancing your professional growth within the nursing field.
    • Design and implement comprehensive wellness programs that address physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
    • Conduct assessments to identify individual health needs and tailor programs accordingly.
    • Provide one-on-one health coaching sessions to educate participants on nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes.
    • Facilitate group classes and workshops on topics such as yoga, weight loss strategies, and motivational interviewing techniques.
    • Collaborate with fitness trainers and health club staff to create an inclusive environment that supports all wellness initiatives.
    • Monitor program effectiveness through participant feedback and health outcomes to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends in wellness practices to incorporate innovative approaches into programs.

    Requirements

    • Valid LVN license with current state licensure; additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
    • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as PCC familiarity with ICD-9/10 coding
    • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, pharmacology related to medication administration and injections.
    • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including elderly patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease; individuals with disabilities or developmental delays.
    • Demonstrated leadership skills in supervising nursing teams during shifts while ensuring compliance standards and infection control protocols.
    • Ability to perform under pressure in fast-paced; experience in acute pain management is advantageous.
