This position is designed as Hybrid.
Job Overview:
The wellness coordinator will be responsible for supporting participating agencies in the State of Tennessee Group Health Insurance Plan (SGIP) through the Working for a Healthier Tennessee (WFHTN) and Education and Outreach teams in BA. The position interacts directly with participating agencies within the SGIP to promote and leverage resources that build a sustainable culture of health and wellness. The position will serve as a consulting member of SGIPs Population Health and Emotional Well-being Solutions/Behavioral Health programs and as a wellness expert on projects that incorporate physical activity, healthy eating, emotional health, and overall well-being. This is a full-time, executive service position based in Nashville. Alternative work arrangements will follow current division policy, with this hybrid position working remotely 80% of the time, with 20% travel/onsite work. Overnight travel of up to 5% may be required. Expected monthly salary is $5,647 to $7,326. The selected candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities will determine the actual salary offer.

Minimum Qualifications:
A minimum of two years of experience in the delivery and coordination of health and wellness promotion or worksite wellness; undergraduate degree in health promotion, exercise science or related field required; masters degree and experience in using health data to inform programs are highly desirable but not required; strong understanding of health behavior change theory, health promotion and disease prevention; strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills, leadership skills (verbal and written) and customer service skills including the ability to motivate others; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative, originality, creativity and attention to detail; ability to effectively and simultaneously manage multiple wellness campaigns and projects; proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including at minimum Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and OneDrive.
