    Description

    As a Blakeford Wellness Assistant, you will:

    • Maintain the Wellness Center, equipment, and pool environments in accordance with company and industry standards, including daily cleaning and routine maintenance.
    • Assess residents’ fitness levels and individual needs to develop personalized exercise programs, monitor progress, and promote safe participation while maintaining confidentiality and resident dignity.
    • Develop and lead engaging group fitness and wellness classes across campus and service lines, adapting instruction and activities to accommodate varying abilities and needs.
    • Coordinate wellness resources and collaborate with residents, team members, and community partners to promote physical health and Blakeford’s WellLife principles.
    • Promote safe exercise practices throughout the campus, ensuring classes and activities follow appropriate safety protocols and provide clear, accessible instruction and modifications.
    • Respond to resident suggestions, requests, and concerns, escalating issues as appropriate, supporting fellow class leaders, and performing other duties as assigned.
