We are seeking a Full-Time Wellness Assistant to support wellness programming, fitness activities, and special events that enhance the quality of life for our residents.
• Assist with organizing and leading fitness classes, wellness programs, and community events for residents.
• Support resident fitness assessments and help coordinate individualized wellness activities under the direction of the Wellness Coordinator.
• Orient residents to fitness equipment, wellness spaces, and aquatic facilities while promoting safe participation.
• Provide instruction and encouragement for wellness activities including fitness training, aquatic exercise, and other physical activities.
• Build positive relationships with residents while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting an active community lifestyle.
Pay: $20.00 - $26.10 / hr DOE
• Experience in fitness, recreation, physical therapy, wellness, personal training, or a related field.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in recreation, physical fitness, physical education, personal training, or a related field preferred.
• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications; Lifeguard certification preferred.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment, exercise techniques, and safe activity practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and computer skills with a passion for helping older adults stay active and engaged.
