    POSITION SUMMARY:
    Assists in the implementation of the Wellness department in the Assisted Living, Independent Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing environment. Responsible for group and one-on-one activities.

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities may include but not limited to:
    • Monitors, records, reports and maintains appropriate documentation regarding residents’ ability, participation, interest, and attendance in activities.
    • Motivates residents to attend and participate in activities.
    • Monitors and reports activity supply inventory levels.
    • Interacts, works with and assists in training of volunteers.
    • Distributes monthly activity calendar of events to residents.
    • Assists in decorating the facility for holidays and special events.
    • Assist residents to and from activity programs. Transports residents within the village.
    • Directs and leads activity programs as posted.
    • Assists in planning activities, schedules, calendar of events and posters/flyers.
    • Care and treatment of village birds and aviaries.
    • Assist in planning and accompany residents on special outings.
    • Participates in one-on-one programs and room visits to room-bound residents and maintains documentation.
    • Attend and participate in all appropriate meetings and training opportunities in keep informed on current information and skill development.
    • Follow established policies and procedures including but not limited to:
      • Presbyterian Villages policies and procedures.
      • Safety policies and procedures.
      • Federal, state and local regulations.
    •  All other duties as assigned.

    Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D Equivalency required.

    Experience: None, but experience in a geriatric environment is beneficial and preferred.
    Computer Skills: Efficient Computer knowledge and use of Microsoft products, word processing, spreadsheets database systems, and email.
