Pay Rate: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements

• 2 years of experience
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic math skills
• Able to read blueprints and use a tape measure
• Steel-toe boots/shoes

Job Duties

• Read and interpret blueprints and welding specifications
• Perform MIG/TIG/structural welding on floors, walls, roofs, and mechanical components
• Complete fabrication and welding tasks according to production requirements
• Operate grinders and hand tools to smooth and finish welds
• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
• Support general shop duties and maintain a clean, safe work environment

What You Will Do

As a Welding Technician you will perform TIG welding on fabricated components, interpret blueprints and welding specifications, prepare materials, inspect completed welds, operate fabrication equipment, verify measurements, maintain welding equipment, and support safe, accurate, and efficient manufacturing operations while producing high-quality finished products.

The Welding Technician plays an important role in manufacturing by producing high-quality welded assemblies that meet strict dimensional and cosmetic standards. This position requires attention to detail, technical knowledge, and pride in craftsmanship.

Successful Welding Technician candidates understand TIG welding procedures, fabrication processes, blueprint interpretation, and workplace safety while supporting efficient production operations. Consistent performance contributes directly to product quality.
