Imagine your fit
- You want steady, four-day workweeks (Monday–Thursday) with overtime opportunities.
- Pick your shift: 1st (6:00 AM–4:30 PM) or 2nd (4:30 PM–3:00 AM).
- Earn $22.25–$27.00 per hour, plus a +$0.50/hour premium on nights.
- Recharge with two weeks of paid vacation.
What if your day looked like this?
- Dial in your machine—set gas, voltage, amperage, and wire speed.
- Execute strong welds in multiple positions, including overhead.
- Stage work: load raw materials, remove finished pieces and scrap.
- Finish parts: file, grind, and scrape to remove burrs, scale, rust, and sharp edges.
- Straighten components—hammer out bends or warps to spec.
- Quality-check: verify with a straight edge or template; sort, mark, and tag completed work.
- Move materials safely—independently or by signaling a crane operator.
- Keep your cell, tools, and machines clean; support other routine tasks as needed.
Could this be you?
- Comfortable with pneumatic power tools and varied shop equipment.
- Reads a tape measure and other measuring tools accurately.
- Understands blueprints and manufacturing orders.
- Follows written and verbal instructions; communicates clearly in English.
- Stays organized, learns quickly, and can switch tasks while maintaining or exceeding production targets.
- Champions continuous improvement—minimizes scrap, reduces waste, and uses supplies efficiently.
- Owns quality—inspects personal work to SOPs.
- Finds and fixes problems quickly and safely.
Physical readiness
- Lift to 50 lbs repeatedly during 8–12 hour shifts.
- Stand and move on concrete for 8–12 hours; reach, grasp, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, carry, climb ladders, work overhead, push, and pull.
- Maintain constant alertness; work safely and attentively.
- Maneuver large assemblies (up to 180 lbs) by pushing, pulling, and flipping into place.
- Mechanically inclined; works well with hands; follows supervisor direction.
- Capable of reading a tape measure and other gauges precisely.
- Aptitude to learn and retain the latest information.
