Welding Supervisor

This is a first-shift position with no weekend work, where you will oversee precsion MIG and TIG welding operations to ensure procedures and practices meet required codes while training and developing new team members.

Emerge is currently recruiting qualified candidates for a direct hire Welding Supervisor job in Erie, PA for our client, a stable militarycontractor known for manufacturing essential military and commercial applications. This is a first-shift position with no weekend work, where you will oversee precsion MIG and TIG welding operations to ensure procedures and practices meet required codes while training and developing new team members.  This is a great opportunity for an experienced welder ready to step into a supervisory role. This position offers a salary range of $60,000 to $62,000 per year, plus straight-time overtime for any hours worked beyond 40 per week, an annual profit-sharing bonus and excellent benefits including low-cost medical insurance and a 401(k) with annual company deposit. 

Responsibilities for the Welding Supervisor job in Erie, PA include:

• Overseeing welding operations to ensure all procedures and practices meet required code standards
• Training and developing new welding employees
• Applying knowledge of weld codes, nondestructive testing, and heat-treating practices to maintain quality across the department
• Supervising first-shift welding staff to support production goals and on-time delivery

Qualifications

• Prior weld supervisory experience required
• Weld engineering degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Knowledge of weld codes, nondestructive testing, and heat-treating practices is helpful
• ITAR. Must be authorized to work in the United Stated. No visa sponsorship available.
