Welders - Varying Levels of Experience Needed
We are currently seeking welding candidates ranging from beginner to expert with training or experience in MIG, TIG, or Stick welding for a well-established manufacturing company in the Akron/Uniontown area.
In this position, you will complete various welding assignments according to your skill level and experience for production of parts and assemblies used for custom engineered production machines for the tire/rubber industries.
Shift:- 6:00am 4:30pm Monday Thursday
- 6:00am 2:30pm Friday (Available Overtime)
Pay:- $18.00 - $26.00/hour based on experience
Key Responsibilities:- Set up welding machines based on job requirements
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on metal components
- Select appropriate equipment and plan layout, assembly, and welding procedures
- Lay out, position, align, and fit components together accurately
- Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to secure positioning prior to final weld
- Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding specifications
Minimum Requirements:- Previous MIG, TIG, and Stick welding training and/or experience
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 60 lbs occasionally
