Job Duties: - Perform MIG welding on steel parts and assemblies according to specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work orders
- Set up welding equipment and adjust settings as needed
- Inspect welds for quality, strength, and accuracy
- Grind, cut, and prepare materials prior to welding
- Assist multiple departments with production tasks and material handling
- Operate basic machinery, hand tools, and material-handling equipment
- Load, unload, and move steel materials safely
- Perform general labor tasks, including cleanup and housekeeping
- Support machine operators with setups, material changes, and production flow
Requirements:
Welding experience (MIG preferred) and basic mechanical skills
