Duties and Responsibilities:
*This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position.
? Be able to demonstrate the skills to pass an AWS D15.1 welding certification test within 30
calendar days of employment using E 71 Ti Flux Core wire and Co2 for a shielding gas.
? Must be able to perform some general repairs aided by a more skilled carmen/ welder.
? Jack cars, dissemble truck components and reassemble in a timely and safe manner.
? Remove and reassemble raft components in a timely and safe manner.
? Operate an air arc and plasma cutter.
? Must come to work and be efficient, quality minded and very safety driven.
? Positive Attitude.
? Regular and consistent engagement, participation and promotion of Herzog’s Culture and its
essential behaviors are a requirement for this position.
? Regular and Predictable attendance and punctuality are a requirement for this position.
? Must be experienced in FCAW process, 2G, 3G, and 4G positions
? Must be able to pass AWS D15.1 weld test
? Must be able to work at heights up to 16’ and in small tight places
? Knowledge of safe work practices and prior experience fitting metal is a plus
