Position Overview
Stand-By Personnel is hiring multiple Welders for immediate openings in Northeast Tulsa. Opportunities are available for both entry-level and experienced candidates, making this a great fit whether you're beginning your welding career or bringing years of shop experience.
These positions involve MIG welding, fabrication, and structural steel work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Blueprint-reading experience is helpful but is not required for every opening.
No weld test is required, and immediate interviews are available. Depending on position availability and completion of hiring requirements, qualified candidates may be able to apply today and start as soon as tomorrow.
Required Experience & Skills
Entry-level and experienced Welders encouraged to apply
Welding, fabrication, manufacturing, or shop experience preferred
MIG welding experience preferred
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Strong attention to weld quality and workmanship
Ability to work in a fast-paced shop environment
Blueprint-reading experience is helpful but not required for every position
Willingness to learn and develop additional welding skills
Dependable attendance and punctuality
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Depending on experience and assignment, responsibilities may include:
Perform MIG welding on metal components
Weld structural steel components
Assist with fabrication and assembly
Prepare materials for welding
Position and align components
Perform tack welding as required
Use grinders and other power tools
Use applicable hand tools
Inspect completed work for visible quality concerns
Follow applicable drawings and production instructions
Maintain consistent weld quality
Assist experienced Welders and Fabricators as needed
Maintain established production standards
Keep work areas clean and organized
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Perform additional welding and fabrication duties as assigned
Entry-Level Welders
You don't need to be a veteran Welder to start the conversation.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods
Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, carrying, positioning, pushing, and pulling
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination required for welding and fabrication
Ability to safely handle metal components
Comfortable performing physically active shop work
Ability to safely work around welding equipment, grinders, sparks, heat, metal, and industrial machinery
Ability to wear all required PPE
