Seeking a highly skilled Welder/Fabricator to support production operations in the Castroville area! This role plays a critical part in producing high-quality metal components and assemblies, with a strong focus on precision, safety, and craftsmanship.

Pay: $19 - $21/HR (Varies)
Shift: Monday - Friday
Hours: 7:30am - 4:00pm

Job Description: 

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Perform welding on a variety of metals, including stainless steel
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards
• Identify, report, and assist in correcting fabrication or welding defects
• Assemble fabricated components and finished metal products
• Ensure structural integrity and quality of welded joints
• Support material handling, organization, and basic inventory control within the fabrication area
• Measure, cut, shape, and grind metal using hand tools and shop equipment
• Work collaboratively with production and fabrication team members
• Follow all safety guidelines, procedures, and workplace policies

 Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience with multiple welding techniques
• Background in metal fabrication, including cutting, shaping, and finishing
• Familiarity with welding tools, machinery, and shop equipment
• Welding certification preferred
• Must be able to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• General knowledge of workplace safety practices
• High school diploma or equivalent
