Pay Rate: $26.00+ per hour (Based on Experience)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday - Friday

Job Overview

A well-established manufacturing company is seeking an experienced Welder to join its team in Union, NJ. This position requires proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding and offers an opportunity to work on a variety of custom fabrication and manufacturing projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong welding skills, experience working from blueprints and drawings, and the ability to produce high-quality welds while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on a variety of metals and materials

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders

• Fabricate, assemble, and weld components according to specifications

• Inspect completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy

• Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently

• Grind, clean, and prepare materials for welding

• Perform fit-up and layout work as required

• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

• Collaborate with fabrication and production teams to meet project deadlines

Qualifications

• Previous experience with MIG, TIG, and Stick welding required

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings

• Experience welding carbon steel, stainless steel, and other metals preferred

• Strong understanding of welding symbols and measurements

• Ability to use hand tools, grinders, saws, and measuring equipment

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Welding certifications are a plus
