Job Overview:We’re looking for a skilled MIG welder to add to our growing team. In this role, it will be your job to create metal projects that match our clients’ specifications. This production process will require you to complete several key tasks. Key Responsibilities:Read and interpret blueprintsSelect the appropriate tools, materials, and gas ratios for different jobsPrepare both metals and work surfaces for the production processMeasure, cut, and drill materials to meet the specifications of the projectTest the strength of your welds after each has been madeKeep your welding tools clean and functionalAssist us in maintaining our inventory and the cleanliness of our shopFollow all relevant safety procedures and protocolsRequirements:High school diploma or equivalentCompletion of formal MIG welding training at an accredited institution (can also be satisfied by completing a MIG welder apprenticeship)Familiarity with the most commonly used MIG welding tools, techniques, and materialsWillingness to follow all safety proceduresSolid levels of physical stamina and strength
