HireUP is seeking an experienced Welder-Implement Mechanic for a well-established agricultural operation in Corcoran, CA. This is a great opportunity for a skilled welder and mechanic who enjoys hands-on work, variety, and the chance to make a direct impact keeping essential farm equipment running.
What You’ll Do

• 
  Perform high-quality Stick, MIG, and TIG welding on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
  
• 
  Complete precise groove and fillet welds in horizontal, vertical-up, and overhead positions.
  
• 
  Repair and rebuild agricultural implements, including discs, chisels, stalk cutters, and rippers.
  
• 
  Disassemble, repair, and reassemble drive systems, including chains, sprockets, bearings, and belts.
  
• 
  Safely service and rebuild simple hydraulic cylinder circuits.
  
• 
  Fabricate agricultural equipment and components using technical drawings.
  
• 
  Travel to field locations to complete maintenance and repair work independently.
  
• 
  Complete detailed maintenance reports and technical documentation.
  
• 
  Follow DOT, CAL-OSHA, and company safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
  

Who We’re Looking For

• 
  Experienced welders and implement, agricultural, or heavy-equipment mechanics.
  
• 
  Strong fabrication, mechanical repair, and troubleshooting skills.
  
• 
  Ability to lay out projects straight, square, and plumb, with an understanding of distortion control.
  
• 
  Comfortable working both in the shop and independently in the field.
  
• 
  Valid California driver’s license with fewer than two points.
  
• 
  High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in welding technology is preferred.
  
• 
  Ability to read, write, and speak English; Spanish is a plus.
  
• 
  Organized, dependable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  

Bonus Skills

• 
  Past welding certifications.
  
• 
  Experience with machine tools such as lathes and milling machines.
  
• 
  Familiarity with AutoCAD or SolidWorks.
  
• 
  Strong desire to learn new mechanical processes and expand technical skills.
