Responsibilities
- Assist welders with setup, fit-up, and fabrication activities.
- Gather, organize, and transport materials, tools, and equipment.
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding.
- Operate hand tools, grinders, and basic power tools safely.
- Assist with material handling and shop duties as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Support production goals while maintaining quality standards.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, fabrication, or an industrial environment preferred.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in a shop environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
