In this high-precision trade position, you will read structural prints, measure, cut, fit, and assemble structural steel components, and perform high-quality MIG and Flux-Cored (FCAW) welds. Description for Structural Welder / Fabricator:
- Fabricate, fit, and weld structural steel assemblies according to exact engineering specs and architectural blueprints.
- Perform high-quality MIG (GMAW), Flux-Core (FCAW), and stick welding processes across heavy steel plate, beams, and tubing.
- Accurately measure, cut, bevel, fit, and assemble steel materials using torches, saws, grinders, and shop fabrication equipment.
- Read and interpret complex structural drawings, weld symbols, and technical shop prints.
- Conduct thorough visual quality checks on completed fit-ups and welds to ensure compliance with AWS and facility safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workstation while operating overhead cranes and shop tools safely.
Details for Structural Welder / Fabricator:
- Pay Rate: $23.00 – $26.00 / hour (Scaling cleanly based on Depth of Experience / DOE).
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Enjoy an early daytime shift with overtime opportunities!).
- Location: Woodland, WA facility.
- Position Type: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire path featuring long-term industrial career growth.

Requirements for Structural Welder / Fabricator:
- 3+ years of recent, verifiable experience in structural steel fabrication and heavy welding strictly required.
- Demonstrated expertise with MIG and Flux-Core (FCAW) welding processes on heavy structural steel.
- Strong blueprint literacy—must be able to read structural drawings, layout dimensions, and welding symbols.
- Proven experience measuring, cutting, fitting, and assembling structural steel components cleanly.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screenings and a practical hands-on weld test.
- Exceptional history of daily attendance, prompt punctuality, and reliable personal transportation.
