Welder–Fitter
We are currently seeking a dependable and skilled Welder–Fitter to join our team for a client in Niles, OH! This position offers the opportunity to work in a hands-on environment fabricating structural steel products for a company that values safety, teamwork, and quality craftsmanship.

Shift:
Full-Time — Day Shift (Overtime as needed)
First Shift M-F 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Pay:

• $20-22 an Hour
• OT is possible

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Fabricate structural steel products safely and efficiently
  
• 
  Read and interpret shop drawings and weld symbols with limited assistance
  
• 
  Set up and operate welding equipment properly
  
• 
  Fit, align, and weld moderately complex assemblies
  
• 
  Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
  
• 
  Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures
  
• 
  Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• 
  High School Diploma or GED
  
• 
  1–2 years of welding and fabrication experience
  
• 
  Ability to read a tape measure and shop drawings
  
• 
  Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work including standing, bending, and stretching
  
• 
  Reliable attendance and attention to detail

Preferred Skills:

• 
  Experience with structural fabrication
  
• 
  Knowledge of material identification and equipment setup/maintenance
  
• 
  Understanding of rigging, lifting, and layout techniques
  
• 
  Familiarity with shears, press brakes, plasma cutting, drills, and related tools
