As a Welder Fabricator, you'll play a crucial role in performing MIG, Fluxcore, and occasional TIG welding while operating fabrication equipment and preparing metal components for assembly. This position offers a variety of hands-on tasks across diverse projects, making it an ideal opportunity for welders who thrive on varied responsibilities.
What You'll Do
As a Welder Fabricator, you will be responsible for:
- Performing Hardwire/MIG welding and Fluxcore welding with accuracy and efficiency.
- Completing occasional TIG welding to meet precise project specifications.
- Grinding and deburring metal parts using handheld tools and palm grinders to achieve a polished finish.
- Operating drill presses and press brakes to fabricate components to exact measurements.
- Efficiently removing parts from laser cutting machines and burn tables.
- Tack and spot welding components in preparation for final assembly.
- Reading and measuring accurately with tape measures to uphold high-quality standards.
- Maintaining a clean and organized shop environment to ensure safety and maximize efficiency.
- Supporting production goals by consistently delivering high-quality workmanship on all projects.
What You'll Bring
The ideal candidate for this role will possess:
- Prior welding experience (required).
- Proficiency in MIG and Fluxcore welding; TIG welding experience is a plus.
- The ability to read and interpret blueprints effectively.
- Capability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
- Attention to detail coupled with strong fabrication skills that enhance the quality of your work.
