Local shop is looking for an experienced Welder/Fabricator! This Welder/Fabricator will fabricate and weld metal components such as plates, gearboxes, according to blueprints and specifications and operate a variety of welding, fabrication and machine shop equipment.
This position is a 3 month coverage and the hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Job Duties and Requirements:
Perform MIG, TIG and Stick and/or Flux Core welding on a variety of metals
Fabricate metal components using cutting, grinding and drilling equipment
Knowledge of metal fabrication techniques, materials and measuring tools
Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
