We are seeking a skilled and dependable Welder/Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with metal fabrication, be able to read blueprints accurately, and take pride in producing high-quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding with occasional TIG welding as needed.
- Read and interpret blueprints to fabricate and assemble metal components.
- Measure and cut materials accurately using tape measures and other measuring tools.
- Perform metal fabrication and assembly according to specifications.
- Safely operate overhead cranes to move materials and finished products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience with metal fabrication.
- Excellent tape measurement and layout skills.
- Ability to safely operate overhead cranes (or willingness to be trained, if applicable).
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Position requires approximately 30% lifting throughout the workday.
- Ability to stand, bend, and work in a manufacturing environment for extended periods.
Pay: $18.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience.
