We are seeking an experienced Welder to join our team in Carnegie, PA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience welding pipe, plate, and structural steel in a fabrication or industrial environment. This position requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols and perform quality welds using multiple welding processes.
Key Responsibilities
-Perform welding on pipe, plate, and structural steel components.
-Perform MIG, hardwire, Flux-Cored Arc Welding (FCAW), and some TIG welding.
-Set up and operate welding machines and related equipment.
-Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, drawings, and measurements.
-Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, fitting, grinding, and positioning.
-Perform tack welding and fit-up prior to final welding.
-Inspect completed welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity.
-Make adjustments to welding settings based on material thickness and welding requirements.
-Use grinders, cutting equipment, and other fabrication tools as needed.
Qualifications
-Previous experience as a Welder in an industrial, fabrication, or structural environment.
-Experience welding pipe, plate, and structural steel.
-Proficiency with MIG/hardwire and Fluxcore welding.
-TIG welding experience preferred.
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
-Strong understanding of welding processes, techniques, and safety practices.
-Ability to use basic measuring and fabrication tools.
-Ability to weld in multiple positions.
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
-Valid Drivers License
