Description

MIG / TIG Welder – 2nd & 3rd Shift (Carbon Steel)

Location: Fountain, CO
Pay Range: $21.00 – $33.00 / hour
Starting rate based on experience and weld test performance
 
Shift Opportunities (training on days for 2-3 weeks)
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
 
We are seeking skilled and reliable MIG and TIG Welders to join our fast-paced manufacturing team on 2nd and 3rd shifts. In this role, you will work primarily with carbon steel to fabricate, assemble, and weld high-quality structural components and manufactured parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality MIG (GMAW) and TIG (GTAW) welds on carbon steel materials.
  • Set up, operate, and maintain welding machines and torch parameters according to material specs.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and welding symbols to align and fit parts accurately.
  • Perform post-weld inspections, grinding, cleaning, and preparation of materials as needed.
  • Adhere strictly to all shop safety rules, quality control standards, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and assist with general production tasks when required.
 
Qualifications & Skills
  • 4+ years of hands-on MIG and TIG welding experience on carbon steel preferred OR a recent welding/fabrication diploma/certificate from an accredited trade school/technical program.
  • Strong capability to read and work off technical drawings and weld symbols.
  • Understanding of metal properties, joint prep, heat control, and machine setting adjustments.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long durations, and work in a active manufacturing shop environment.

  • Welding helmet
  • Welding gloves
