    David’s House Ministries exist to extend God’s love and foster a community of care to adults with special needs. Our success is rooted in our diverse backgrounds and people first philosophy.     POSITION SUMMARY
    Direct Support Professionals provide care and support for the adults with disabilities who live at David’s House. This includes personal care for some and friendship for all. DSP’s are there to support our residents in living life to the fullest! Minorities, women, and individuals with disabilities are encouraged to apply.
     
    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
    • Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
    • DHMIN provides on the job training
     
    COMPETENCIES
    • Must be at least 18 years of age
    • Must have a willingness to learn
    • Ability to adapt to working on a team or alone
    • Ability to remain calm in an emergency
    • Must have written documentation skills
    • Must have a valid Michigan driver's license
     
    HOURS & PAY
    • Part-time positions include working every other weekend
    • 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions are available
    • Pay is based on experience, starting at $17.05/hr
    • Shift premiums for 3rd shift and weekends
