2ND SHIFT WEEKEND | CNC/WEDM MACHINIST Great opportunity to join a great company with a strong culture. We are looking for an experienced CNC / Wire EDM Machinist for our 2nd Shift Weekend schedule.
This is a machinist position, not a basic machine operator role. We are looking for someone with hands on machining experience who understands the machining process and can independently set up and run machines.
SCHEDULE- 2nd Shift Weekend
- Work 3 @12 hour days ( FR, SA, SU)
- Work the entire 36 hour schedule and get paid for 40 hour
- Temp to hire opportunity
RESPONSIBILITIES- Set up and operate CNC / Wire EDM machines
- Run machines and parts independently
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Make basic offsets and machine adjustments
- Work with tight tolerance parts
- Use micrometers, calipers, pins, gauges, and other precision measuring tools
- Perform quality inspections
- Maintain quality and production standards
QUALIFICATIONS- CNC or Wire EDM machining experience
- Machine set up experience
- Strong blueprint reading skills
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Understanding of offsets and machine adjustments
- Experience working with tight tolerances
- Understanding of quality inspections
- Ability to work independently
- Programming experience is not required
- Strong work ethic
