About the Position:

Freedom Village is looking for a weekend package room assistant to support the Front Desk. The Front Deks is the center of our community. This role assists the Receptionist with greeting and directing guests and residents, guests and medical personnel within our community.

Duties include:

• Accepting and logging packages
• Messaging or calling residents if packages are available for pick up
• Delivering packages or mail as needed to residents
• Covering the front desk for lunch breaks including greeting guests, answering telephones in a courteous, professional manner, directing all incoming and outgoing calls within the community, responding to radio calls and red alerts and assisting management with special notices and projects.
• Monitoring radio traffic during the nurse's lunch

Requirements:

2 years of experience as front desk/receptionist or clerical- in a medical or senior living environment, preferred

Excellent customer service skills

Excellent communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook

Shift: 10:00am-1:30pm or 2:00pm on Saturday and Sunday

Salary $18.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience.

Offer of employment is contingent upon successful fingerprint clearance through Department of Justice, physical exam, TB, drug and alcohol and other prehire screening. Covid-19 vaccination preferred not required. Freedom Village is an EOE.
