Job Description: The client is seeking an experienced Web Technology Manager to lead the support, maintenance, modernization, and production management of enterprise web applications built on the Microsoft .NET technology stack and Vue.js. This is a hands-on technical leadership role responsible for ensuring production stability, managing release cycles, resolving critical production incidents, and mentoring development teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in .NET technologies, SQL Server, Vue.js, production support, release management, and enterprise application operations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available business applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead production support and operational management for enterprise web applications
- Own application release planning, readiness, deployment, and post-release validation activities
- Monitor application health, system availability, performance, and production stability
- Troubleshoot production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent resolutions
- Lead technical escalations and coordinate resolution of complex production issues
- Coordinate software releases across Development, QA, DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams
- Identify technical, infrastructure, deployment, and operational risks before production releases
- Develop release validation, mitigation, rollback, and contingency strategies
- Support applications developed using C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Framework 4.x, Vue.js, and Scala (Play Framework)
- Manage SQL Server database connectivity, performance, and enterprise application integrations
- Support enterprise CMS platforms including Ektron, UpperStrata, and Drupal
- Maintain and troubleshoot legacy integrations using WCF/SOAP services and IBM DataPower when required
- Improve deployment processes, release management practices, and operational efficiency
- Mentor development teams and promote full-stack technical ownership and best practices
- Participate in architecture discussions, technical planning, and modernization initiatives
Additional Responsibilities:
- Enhance release management processes and production operational excellence
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, and Application Support teams to improve deployment reliability
- Maintain deployment documentation, operational procedures, and production runbooks
- Monitor enterprise applications using Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, and other monitoring platforms
- Recommend platform modernization, performance optimization, and infrastructure improvements
- Support CI/CD initiatives, deployment automation, and continuous delivery strategies
Required Skills:
- Minimum 14 years of software development and enterprise application support experience
- Strong hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Framework 4.x
- Experience developing and supporting applications using Vue.js
- Experience with Scala and Play Framework
- Strong SQL Server development and administration experience
- Experience using TFS (Azure DevOps Server) for source control and release management
- Extensive experience managing production releases and deployment activities
- Strong production monitoring, troubleshooting, and incident management experience
- Ability to independently investigate, diagnose, and resolve production issues
- Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and legacy .NET platforms
- Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams
- Excellent leadership, mentoring, analytical, and communication skills

Education:
- Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field required
- Master\'s degree preferred
